Annually, one of the highlights of the summer season in the Calaveras County Wine Country is the Ironstone Vineyards concert series. Sure, wineries in most regions offer a summer concert series, but few can rival the breath of entertainment offered on this year's schedule - and even fewer can rival the venue of the beautiful outdoor amphitheatre at Ironstone.
Although the first couple of concerts are in the books, there is an impressive array of talent yet to take the stage. The remaining concerts include:
This is the perfect way to spend a summer day (and evening) in the Calaveras Wine Country: drive up early and spend a day tasting wine at the wineries and tasting rooms in and around Murphys. (Remember, you can park your car and WALK to 20 tasting rooms in downtown Murphys alone!); grab and early dinner at one of Murphys growing array of fine dining options (one large group heading to the Chris Isaac concert is even planning a catered dinner in our tasting room at Solomon before the concert); then head up to Ironstone for a fabulous concert experience.
