Okay, it's time for me to make that trek down the hill again to let you know about a new event coming up at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg - the home to our second tasting room (as well as tasting rooms for four other wineries).  Over the weekend of August 7th and 8th, the wineries of the Old Sugar Mill will be hosting our first Wine, Cheese & Bread Faire. 

This promises to be one of the grandest events ever hosted by the OSM, and the goal is no less than to re-create the atmosphere of San Francisco's Ferry Building in the Galleria of the OSM.  We will be showcasing:

• cheese makers from The California Cheese Guild
• artisan breads from Panera Bread
• Local producers of specialty chocolates, olive oil, nuts, coffee, tea, spices - and much more

All these products will be available for both tasting and purchase.  Find something you really like?  Pair it with wine from the five host wineries and build your own picnic to enjoy on the OSM's outdoor patio.

In addition to the tastings, there will be demonstrations, interactive cheese education seminars and local chef cooking demonstrations throughout the weekend.  You may also enjoy winery tours, barrel tastings, and limited release or library tastings from all five wineries.

The Wine, Cheese & Bread Faire runs from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. both days.  Tickets are $15.00 and include a commemorative wine glass, tastings, and admission to all the seminars and demonstrations.  Tickets may be purchased at the event, or in advance at https://oldsugarmill.hosting-advantage.com/pages/cheese.php.
